CBSE and ICSE boards have announced the cancellation of the board exams of 10th and 12th standard. Now, those students who are preparing for the NEET-UG, and JEE Mains exams are concerned about the cancellation of these two important exams. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the cancellation of exams on Thursday, due to an increasing number of coronavirus cases.
CBSE and ICSE board Said
The officials of CBSE said that due to this pandemic we have cancelled the 10th board exams and 12th board exam with provisions. However, if a student wants to give an exam then he/she can appear for it. The exam will be taken only when the corona condition is under control. Similarly, the ICSE board has cancelled the 10th and 12th board exams.
What about JEE Mains and NEET 2020
After the exam cancellation of CBSE and ICSE board due to increasing corona cases, there is a strong possibility of cancellation of these two exams. According to the orders of HRD minister of Government of India, it was scheduled on 18 to 23 July (JEE mains) and 26 July for NEET-UG exams. On the other hand, students who are preparing for the exam are now expressing their concerns about the exam.
Talking about the number of applications then this year around 9 laths students have applied for JEE mains and around 15 lakh students have applied for NEET exam. Some students have applied at the time of the second window application.
Apart from this, the Foreign education system is badly affected due to Coronavirus, and students who had plans to study aboard are waiting for things to get normal.
